Looks like fun. http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/0706/21/spidey.jpg The designs are by the guy that did the Hellboy cartoon and its produced by the Gargoyles creator.

Holy crap, he has under-arm webs! First time ever in other media?
As long as it's not by the same folks making the current FF toon, I'm in. Lord, that is horrible.

My biggest gripe about the FF toon is Sue is a witch.
This Spidey toon looks promising from the design. Marvel could use a well made cartoon.

And Johnny is a jerk. Not a funny jerk. Not a loveable jerk. Just a jerk. I tried to watch the season premiere with Namor. I lasted maybe 5 minutes. This is the worst Marvel toon ever made, IMHO. The Thing-Ring shorts are better than this.

I don't know... the 90's FF/Iron man/Hulk was pretty bad.
I did like the Hulk episode of this. I didn't know it was coming when I saw it, and to my knowledge that was the first on screen Hulk/Thing fight

Hulk was on the second season of the 90s FF toon. The second seasons of those shows are MUCH better. The first seasons (esp. FF) are horrible.

I haven't even seen this new FF cartoon yet but it sounds like something I should avoid like the plague. From the way you guys describe the show, it sounds like even the 1978 series with HERBIE the Robot is better. I'm surprised people don't like the 90's series, though I will agree that season two was far better in terms of animation, theme intro, and storylines.
Out of curiosity, which version of the Fantastic Four does everyone like the best? Or is there any version that anyone likes the best. So far, the only series I haven't heard anything negative about is the original 1967 series by Hanna Barbera.
One comment on the new Spidey cartoon. I doubt anyone would do this, but if I could make a Spidey cartoon, I wouldn't care who I got for most of the voice overs including Spidey himself as long as I could get and pay J.K. Simmons to voice over J Jonah Jameson. Especially after hearing him twice on the Simpsons.
Cheers.
Hmmmm....
Y'know... this Spidey looks VERY Titans-esque; which may not be a bad thing. Spidey was always a wise-acre, and the more cartoony type animation would probably work for him. Especially if they do it a bit on the silly side; like the Titans.
>And Johnny is a jerk. Not a funny jerk. Not a loveable jerk. Just a jerk.
I'm not a fan of the new FF cartoon; but I didn't think it was too bad. In the earlier comics Johnny IS a jerk. A lot like the cartoon. (His fights with Spidey really hilight this. And he was always pulling juvenile pranks on Ben.) It looks like they drew heavily from the earliest comics. (And not just the plots.) But yeah; Sue is... er... DIFFERENT than the comics. I guess it's a law that you're not allowed to have a passive female character any more. (Well; Reed sorta makes up for it in the cartoon... AND the movie.)

LOVE IT! Can't wait. The artwork looks very reminiscient of the Batman cartoon series. I love all things Spidey so I'm excited to see this next series. The last one, from MTV, was pretty good but aimed at a marketplace that didn't want it. Plus I thought the language was a tad strong for it being a Spiderman feature, but, of course, they were doing that for the MTV crowd.

I may be just getting too old ... I don't care for the style, most of the Manga-esque stuff does nothing for me!!!
