I'm looking for tunics for my Megos. Doc has a green tunic but no other colors are available. Does anyone have/make them?

you could "edit" a body suit.

I thought about that. And Doc does have those "torso" shirts which are a bit tight for what I want. I'm looking for tunics that knights would wear over their chainmail.

Have you tried draping material over the figure, and marking the lines you need like the side seams, neck hole, back opening, and hem?

Just make sure you use some non-woven material like interfacing or that sew through pattern paper that's available.

That way, you can make any kind of neckline you want: keyhole, round, etc.

Unfortunately, I avoid sewing as I usually stick myself in the finger when I do, and you don't want bloodstained tunics on your knights/warriors/what-have-you.

You could use the Black Knight Tunic from CTVT as a pattern for other colors.

I like the BK tunic but it is a bit long. I'm looking more at the style of Doc's Doom one and I'd like to do is get three tunics for the three knights that normally wear the chestplate armor. I'd like the tunic color to match the color of their shield emblem or the tunic be the same color as their shield and then have the emblem on the chest.

I don't sew.

There's some kind of seam glue available on the market, that replaces sewing, but I can't remember the name of it.

That way, you don't have to sew.

Just use a little bit of it, on one seam and I think you set it with a hot iron.

If you don't want to burn your fingers, I suggest getting that craft iron that people use for making bias binding.

I'll google the substance and get back to you.

& I thought everyone was talking about me. :silly:

I dunno What colors you are looking for,.. But Doc's Black Suit is a Bit over sized... You could cut the Legs & arms Off,.. Hem them up.. It's kinda quick & painless when it comes to sewing. The idea would probably work for a few other of the suits too. :wink_y:

If you look at the Sheriff of Notingham custom that I believe MegoJim created earlier this year, It appears he used a black knight tunic cut down which is what I did as well to make mine based on his design. However that only gives you black, although it would work as a pattern. Here is my version.
I added a ribbon for color accent.
It would be a fairly simple sewing job for someone.

Are you looking for a surcoat, tabbard, or robe style setup?

I'd prefer pullover like Black Knight and Dr. Doom.
