I remember that but didn't find this a scary as WPIX's Chiller theatre with the arm coming out of the swamp saying chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiller!!!! Now I would get nightmares when i heard that. My mom would have fits with my Dad who watched it....she would tell him to lower that otherwise i wouldn't sleep......which i didn't:grin:

I miss all the old movie lead ins. creature features, the late show, A movie for a sunday afternoon.

I even miss when they used to play the anthems before TV went off the air. Its so hard to believe there was a time when TV went off at 1AM and didnt come back on till the farm reports/ news at 5 AM.

My kids have never seen a test pattern before
