It was during the DeFalco/Paul Ryan era. Like thunderbolt said, Reed was dead, and Sue took over (I think Ant-Man became the 4th memeber?). I think she did indeed hook-up with Namor. Imperious Rex!
She wore that when she was leading the team? I guess she needed to keep Ben's attention somehow.
Was this after the Malice storyline?

I should have just check Wiki to begin with.
"Susan eventually became pregnant for a second time. However, if she thought that her pregnancy with Franklin had had its share of trauma, this one was going to be even worse, for several reasons. This second child was birthed stillborn due to Susan having been exposed to radiation inside the Negative Zone on a previous trip. A depressed Susan was later manipulated by events set into motion by Psycho-Man into becoming Malice. Susan, with this new identity and emotions as Malice, attacked her friends and family in the Fantastic Four. She effortlessly defeated She-Hulk and Human Torch; luckily, Reed was able to save Susan by forcing her to hate him legitimately. Broken free of Psycho-Man's influence, Susan (off-panel) did something to Psycho-Man, causing him to let out a terrifying scream. After she rejoined her teammates, Susan stated that Psycho-Man would never hurt anyone ever again. Susan found herself a changed person after these events and because of this, changed her codename to the Invisible Woman. Finding a life outside the Fantastic Four, Reed and Sue were invited into the membership of the Avengers. The two of them were Avengers (in Avengers, volume one, issue 300) briefly, and later rejoined the Fantastic Four.
During the Infinity War, Susan was forced to face off against Malice, who had re-emerged in Sue's subconscious. After defeating Malice, Susan absorbed Malice into her own consciousness. Subsequently, Susan's personality was influenced by Malice, causing her to become more aggressive in battle, even creating invisible razor-like force fields she used to cut enemies. She also took to wearing a more revealing costume, which included a cut out "4" in the chest, showing her cleavage. Her son Franklin, who had traveled forth and back in time, had become the adult hero Psi-Lord, and he was able to free his mother and absorb the influence of Malice into himself. He eventually destroyed Malice from within his own mind."
Fantastic Force, T'nA Invisible Woman, The Thing in the Iron Mask, Psi Lord, Dead Reed, Alicia is really a Skrull. Shiny Covers. Embossed Covers. Die Cut Covers.
Wasn't Defalco also EIC at Marvel during this time he was writing the FF? (or had it passed onto Harris at this point?).
People were pretty tough on Heroes Reborn, but for me it was actaully a welcome relief from than the mess Marvel had made of the Avengers and FF titles by this point in time.
I mean this was the era of Teen Iron Man and Force Works!
Yeah I thought Marvel was a big mess around this time the FF was going on fumes I too actually liked the heroes reborn except what Liefield did with Cap and Avengers thank goodness even Marvel saw the load of Dung he was doing and Fired him.
Fantastic Four with Jim Lee was good made the book exciting again for me.I liked when he redid the costumes and took them out of the John Byrne versions which I felt were outdated already......
Man, after reading all this all I got to say is: What a Frickin' Trainwreck!!! *** was Marvel thinking?? Everybody that rags on Quesada and company now ought to be thankful after what happened last decade.

Man, after reading all this all I got to say is: What a Frickin' Trainwreck!!! *** was Marvel thinking??
Yeah that cover above to #375 about says it all...a scantily clad Invisible Woman, big freakin' guns, jackets!, a Skrull, helmeted Thing and all of that sparkly crap! Sad thing is I own that issue!
Everybody that rags on Quesada and company now ought to be thankful after what happened last decade.
But I wouldn't go that far....
Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!
^ The only one who can pull-off the leather jacket thing (besides The Fonz) is Animal Man....and maybe Rogue. The rest....bleh
Seems like Buddy started that. And it worked for him. But when the Avengers are all wearing brown leather bomber jackets (even frickin' Hercules and the Black Knight!) it's time to call it a day.
