Why was this made into a video game? I couldn't believe it when I saw it in this week's Best Buy sales flyer. No idea how this would even work as a video game.

It's a TV show that's about cooking and now it seems to be a video game. I'm sure it won't be long and we'll see Top Chef and Iron Chef video games.

The chef dude is a total jerk, but then some of the contestants deserve it. Typical drama driven crappy reality show. I just never get how these idiots invite him in to bail them out of the hole they're in by doing such goofy things, then they carp about the changes he makes. Most of them deserve to be dressed down, although the language is pretty raw.
How is it the Board of Health never inspects these filthy kitchens either? You'd think somebody from the main office would be watching and call up the field rep "Hey Dave, isn't Kitchen X one that you passed last week? What's up with Gordon Ramsay & all these cockroaches?"
Not sure how a video game would play out though...a lot of that TV show stuff just doesn't adapt well- so much of it relys on the actual personality of the characters and doesn't translate well to animation.Comment

btw, HELL'S KITCHEN is much different than Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmare's. One is a cooking contest, the other he helps out failing restaurants.Founding member of the Legion of DoomComment

Oh, yes, I was commenting on KN...I actually prefer that to Hell's Kitchen . HK suffers from the reality show gimmick of cliffhanger endings for every commercial break...plus the inane little soundbite clips between scenes by the contestants.Comment
