    Dick Tracy

    I won one of these on ebay so I attempted to tailor it to fit the 8" body. It came out OK. I used cttv shirt and pants and cut the shoes from the appluase doll's legs

    Hey, Nice place you've got here.. been a while since I have been here. I am liking the new board

                      It is a great custom of the Beatty Tracy. A truely wonderful combination of elements into Mego like lovlieness

                      Love the movie but Beatty's Tracy would've been better if he wasn't too vain to put on a fake nose. Almost everybody else in that movie looked like they fell into a vat of foam latex, but ya can't mess with Beatty's and Madonna's face

                              Hey, Ant.. thank you. I used your idea for the tie. Just cut ribbon and tied it like a normal tie.

                              It's funny I thought about making the nose from sculpey.

                              I apreciate the compliments, like I said he turned out OK.

                              Wait till you see what I did to Madonna ....

                                      He looks cool. I got a whole set of the Dick Tracy movie "dolls" that were stuffed bodies with plastic heads ... I have been wanting to do something like that for a while ... the bad thing is the only figure that was a mess was Dick Tracy, no hat!!!

                                                          cool. i wanted to get more of them but i got lucky and found these two on ebay for only a few bucks. most of the auctions i saw were getting pricey.

                                                          i like him but i'll tell you it was more work than i anticipated. the size is workable but you have to do a lot of tailoring. you should do it
