Cool, sounds like an interesting set of interviews, congrats!! I just met Sid Haig at a convention a few weeks ago, very nice, approachable guy.

        Wow!

That's amazing! I was watching 'Thriller-A Cruel Movie' and took a break to check out some posts only to see your book!
I just recently started getting into these after being on the fringe for a while. A well-supplied friend has let me borrow a few oddballs.
I have Ilsa-She Wolf of the SS, Lady Snowblood, Sex and Fury, and Coffy in line to watch this week.
Don't have the cash now but love to get your book sometime.

I'm not sure where but I was actually reading about this book this week. Congratulations! I'm a huge fan of Sam Sherman and Al Adamson.

Oh, you're in for a treat with those four films, my friend. I have all of those DVDs in my collection too. It sounds like your friend has similar tastes to me. I didn't enjoy THRILLER as much as I thought I would though. I guess after all the build up I had my expectations too high. Christina was the best thing about the film (she's in SEX AND FURY too, a film I liked much better)

I remember Sid Haig from Electra Woman and Dyna Girl and Jason Of Star Command.

I became familar with the work of Mr. Haig in the Pam Grier films directed by Jack Hill (eg. COFFY, THE BIG DOLL HOUSE, etc.). When I recently checked his profile at IMDB, I was stunned by how many iconic 70's and 80's TV shows he made guest appearances on. I don't think any other actor has appeared on so many well loved TV shows.

Thanks for all the well wishes, folks. Sid Haig is a super nice guy. My favorite performance of his was his turn as the cowboy/bounty hunter in BLACK MAMA, WHITE MAMA -- he's hysterical in that film. It's almost a slightly more subdued precursor to Captain Spalding.
