Cobra Commander - WIP

Okay -- This guy is my favorite .... If you ever have an evening of nothing to do -- go to Blood for the Baron and read how Baron Ironblood sells out his Red Shadows and the Black Major and becomes the Cobra Commander. Cool story with a neat origin of Destro. This guy is based on a custom I saw at a Joe board .... the idea for using the Tarkin head was on a different forum and I merged the 2.
I usually try not to post WIP pics but I am excited about this guy....

I hope to finish him sometime this week .... I am still goofing around with his removable mask. Need to add his medals and give him a pistol -- redo the belt buckle maybe add a second belt. Touch up the paint on his head. And I have do something about his button on his jacket --- The glue really pics up in the pictures...

very cool...if you're having trouble coming up with the mask,remenber you could always do the Cloth one :grin:

just one question,why did you go with an older look on the face?

That's GREAT! The only thing that'd make him PERFECT would be embroidered emblems. (Which I've been trying to get the hang of for a year or so....)

But yeah, that's great! I'd go with the removable cloth hood.

Did you make the suit, or get from somewhere? I'm in need of a suit just like that. He looks very cool so far by the way- love your joe customs!

Don I wish I could embroidery the emblem... and my sewing machine has the program to do that...:googly:
Evel -- the suit is a combo of 2 SWAT suits reworking the collars.

awsome! cant wait to see him in his iconic mask. but seriously--friggin' awsome! this is how he would look like today with out his mask all old sincee started cobra in the 70's old dictator thats....still trying to take over the world....hmm....wonder if he ever thought he wasted his life...
