Is Castaway sold out of bodies already?!? [Archive]

Hey gang,
I purchased 4 of their new bodies but only got one in the mail. The invoice showed I purchased 4, but no other note or explanation of why I was short 3 bodies. Did they sell through? Anyone else get an order rationed?

1. I did send a PM to "who(m) I should be asking," hadn't heard back yet, so...

2. I'm checking to see if they sold out. Is this a problem for you?

As for whether or not they are sold out, I certainly hope not. I just got my first "customizer special" and am sold on the product. I want more NOW!

Give Dave Lee or Jason "gaga4toyz" a buzz and they should get back to you relatively quickly. Both are consumate professionals in this arena and will get your situation straightened out ASAP.

I agree. I've never bought from them, or conversed with them, but just from their posts & responses I know they're good people (I was never questioning that).

I just wanted to know if I missed out on the first batch so I don't wait around next time like I might have this time! If it's a simple oversight, I have little doubt they won't remedy it.

My wife ordered a few for me for my birthday over a week ago and still nothing in sight.But then again I'm in Canada so it will take a little longer.
Damn border hold ups...(they are probably playing with my figures right now)
I hope they are not out though as I was just thinking about placing another order for myself...LOL
I don't even have the first set and I want more...LOL
Mas hysteria and panic will now ensue as wild rumours of no bodies left will now fly rampantly.... :terror:

Settle down there boys...just a little goof on the shipping:silly: We have inventory control that keeps us from going over our stock, no need to ration. This was me filling tons of orders and goofin up.... though we are gettin low.

Yes, it is a waster of server space for a thread and is just clutter when you have other means of contact and is just a waste of space here.

Yes, he could have asked Castaway Toys why he was shorted but I know my e-mails to them have been bouncing back for a couple of months now. Yes, he could have PMd them but do those guys log in on a regular basis? I sent Dave a PM that went unanswered so I guess they log on when they aren't busy with the real world.

But you missed a key portion of his post:
"Anyone else get an order rationed?"

He was asking if anyone else got their orders rationed. That's certainly not a waste of server space or clutter. That's on-topic for "Replica Chat".

See it *was* possible that they sold out, just not the case in this instance. I wasn't playing at any ******baggery (on my part) when I asked. I knew David Lee had friends here who probably knew the answer & might get back to me faster than the busy man himself.
