Hey guys,

does anyone here know of how good AFA grading is about catching fakes,like recards or repros? on Star Wars figures? I know they aren't that good when it comes to megos and He-man.But I usually hear good things about Gi joes and Star Wars.Just curious?

wow didn't know that about the employees

I've just been noticing so many recards and fakes on ebay that I wonder if a few get by with out them noticing

It would be good to send a fake just to see if they catch it :smiley1:

That and I just got a small lot of graded figures and want to make sure it's all good.

So keep an eye out guys cause I'll be listing them here first. :grin:

I know for certain at least one high end fake got past AFA a few years ago.

It was a 12 back Vader with the DT lightsaber.

Check out rebelsum.com. They have an AFA section with pros and cons of getting figures graded. And any issues people have had

I have a vintage figure on a 21 back STAR WARS BOBAFETT Spaceshot pic that got passed them as well on a repro card.I freaked out but I guess it depends on who grades them.I have 4-5 repro Fetts that look real I put my friends to the test!!! Thats why I'm a little scared to buy things from evilbay.
