    Horror video games. Anyone?

I just graduated from an xbox to an xbox 360 and apart from ww2 1st person shooter games, I love Horror survival games.

I picked up a few that I thought were simply awesome...

    Condemned (criminal origin) good

    Condemned (bloodhot) AWESOME!

    Biohazard another good one!

I just bought Clive Barker's "Jericho" but have not put it in yet.

Anyone else into the horror games?

I use to love Horror games
Dead Rising is the only one I've played for the 360 though.

I still love Silent Hill and Land of the Dead

I'm a huge Resident Evil (Biohazard) fan and always enjoy a good survival horror game. I've heard Bioshock is really good but haven't had the chance to play it yet. I'll also be getting Left 4 Dead when that comes out since it looks like the co-op play feature will be a lot of fun.

I'm a big fan of the Legacy of Kain, BloodRayne and Resident Evil Games. The House of the Dead games are also a lot of fun and I can't forget the Castlevania series .

BTW: Have you tried FEAR on the 360? It actually does a good job of mixing horror and 1st person shooters.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I have always been partial to the Doom franchise. I have to say that Doom III was one of the only games I have ever played that made me jump right out of my seat.

I would also say that Biohazard was excellent as well. I love the 1930's art deco feel to that game.

Biohazard is the name for the Resident Evil series in Japan. Everything is pretty much the same except for the name.

I watched gameplay videos at youtube. The zombies are fast moving which really isnt my thing but it did look like it would be fun. I will be getting it once the price comes down a bit.
I loved Land of the Dead though! That game was fantastic and I was sad when I beat it because I wanted more. there was supposed to be another Romero horror game called island of the Dead (not 100% sure of the name) sadly it was canceled though.

The first Resident Evil movie was supposed to be directed by George Romero, but he couldn't come to an agreement with Capcom. On the boxes for the game they avertised a contest to win a guest role (probably a zombie) in the film. I've often thought how much it would've sucked to have won that contest and then not get a chance to be in the film. As a side note, my friend max was the guy with a skateboard in Land of the Dead.

I still have my PSOne ResEvil titles and Dino Crisises. I can't part with them. Too fun. I have the second Evil Dead game too (Fistful Of Boomstick?) and I like it most.
