And YAYYYYY!! Dwayne McDuffie!!! JLU script writer. I might have to start picking up JLA now that they have a writer that is very familiar with the history and how to get a story told in a half hour!!

And it looks like he's going to be dealing with the Secret Society!

Ohhh crap! I hate to be the JLA! Looks intriguing (although what's up with that Joker art?)
I liked when the SSOSV had a rotating membership though, not every freakin' villain under the sun. Overkill....

Is it just me, or does DC seem to be going more for the naturals on these titles as of late? Wolfman on Nightwing, Waid on Flash, Dini on Detective, and now McDuffie on JLA?
It's a good time to be a DC fanboy!

^^ Yep, and they are cancelling the current title and bringing back the old Wally West one with its numbering, and hopefully its star.

So that's sorta like DC admitting the new direction was wrong...?

^^ Waid's claiming this has been the plan from the get go.

^ Yeah they are....I'm getting a little sick of the Secret Six thing. I think it's run it's course for now.

I really enjoyed the recent Secret Six appearance in Birds of Prey. Although I think the rotating sixth member gag is getting a bit tired. Harley didn't really work for me. I was hoping they would settle on the Mad Hatter from the SS mini.
I loved the Society/Legion of Doom arcs on the Justice League animated series. The Grodd/Giganta stuff was just icky fun.
McDuffie wrote the "Defenders" episodes of JLU. Here is hoping that they team up Grundy, Doctor Fate, Amazo, Aquaman, and Hawkgirl at some point in the comic.
