The square pattern of his Armour makes him look like a Disco Ball.

Pair him up with Dazzler and I think you've got something magical.

There was nothing wrong with the old Thor costume...why do they feel the need to "improve" things...???

What a pain in the neck to draw that grid every time.
At least he's shaving again.

I like the old costume better but I thik solong as they have some good action adventure stories like in the 60's and 70s over the more recent real world style I'll live with the change happily just to have comics that entertain not read like a copy of the daily bugle

It's FUGLEE and like every stupid change they make, it will go away and the "Classic" Thor look will return ... how many costumes have they given Spiderman???
I don't get the idea behind the squared sequin body suit. Is it supposed to be armor? high fashion kevlar? does it itch? do hairs get caught in it? does it have a zipper or do you have to take the whole thing off when hitting the can?

Amen to that. The reality TV-like changes that the Marvel U is undergoing is seriously bumming me out. I miss the fun days of high adventure.

When I first seen it, I thought it looked like the mesh type of metal material they use on some womens hand bags and other fashion accessories for women.
I don't mind it so much but then again I like Disco Balls too:). I still perfer the old costume though.

Well, you can tell by the way I use Mjolnir
I'm a woman's God: got time for beer
Thunder loud and Odin scorned, dad kicked me 'round
Since I was born
And now it's all right, it's okay
I was popped inside that Donald Blake
I can try to understand
Humility's effect on man
Whether you're Travolta or whether you're Gaea
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Feel Asgard breakin' and immortals shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive
Well now, I throw low and I throw high
And if I lose my hammer, then I can't fly
Got the apples of Idun for my blues
I'm a Lightning God and I just can't lose
You know it's all right, it's okay
I'll live to see another day
J. Jonah try to understand
The New York Time's effect on man
Whether you're a Bee Gee or whether you're Loki
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Hulk goes breakin' Avengers start shakin'
And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive

Oh my gawd :juggleyes_y: Never mess with a Jack Kirby design. I could understand if it was some kind of chain mail but.. I'm not liking the pointy bits on the helmet either. Jack will be girating in his grave.
Clem...
Hmmmm....
Catchy little ditty there....
As for the outfit; I don't find it all that different; it's the old one, rendered a bit more realisticly, with that... whatever it is on his limbs. I GUESS it's supposed to be chainmail or scale mail.... I guess.
I wouldn't expect it to last too long; all them little plates are a pain to draw. It'll get shorthanded as deadlines come and go. I'm betting it's ALREADY shorthanded chainmail. (So we're halfway there!)
