    The Mummy Universal Legacy DVD

Picked up a copy of the Universal Legacy Collection of the Mummy over the weekend, having loved their treatment of Frankenstein.

I gotta say, it's pretty darn nice if you're a fan. It's got a nice (somewhat short) piece on Jack Pierce and another on the legacy of the Mummy films themselves. Then it's that piece on Universal horror all of these have.

I've yet to watch the film itself but I'm happy to have this in my collection, hopefully they do a Wolfman next.

Cool, just the Karloff one without the lesser movies. I got Drac and Frankenstein in this series already. I hope the do it for all the iconic Universal Monsters.

I imagine that the Wolfman will be next seeing as it's being remade. I am really fond of that film (and the character) so I'm on board.

Passed on the Dracula though, I can't sit through it!

Yeah, except for the opening scenes in Drac's castle, that movie is a snore fest. Too much like a filmed stage play.

How much are these legacy sets running?

I believe they've been doing these as 75th anniversary issues. If that's the case, it'll be 2015 before they get around to the Wolf Man

I have the 6 they put out
Dracula, Frankenstine, Wolfman, Mummy, Invisible man, and Creature from the black lagoon.
There all great, they all have the 3 or 4 follow up films as well as the original.
They have been out for a couple of years now so I'm not sure what there going for but there worth it.

^^^ Those are different sets that were put out around the time of the wretched Van Helsing movie.
