    Gabriel Monster Machine

Anybody remember this thing from 1977? Snagged this today for $4 at the thrift....

    Gabriel's MONSTER MACHINE:

Essentially it's a mix n' mold kinda set. You can make plaster monsters with the molds and then paint them. My favorite are the generic alien guys HORNAGOR and GALAXOGG. I may actually try to use this over the weekend...

I had one of these as a kid. The play value was limited and after a few tries at high art I used up the rest of the mix making BB gun targets that exploded very nicely! I did have one nicely painted Jekyll/Hyde penicl holder that sat on shelf for years unti a cat broke it. It would be cool to make those today with a decent grade of plaster of Paris.

If you do try it out, I'd really like to buy one of the Frankenstein heads if you can make me one.
            LMK and thanks, Mike

Sorry, I didn't realize this was from June, but I would like to have one of the Frankenstein casts if you still have it.

ha ha, funny this thread was bumped. After much trial and error, I got the thing to work and made a couple casts. Anyway, the thing is up on my shelf right now, if anybody wants it, make me an offer.......

                  Gabriel Monster Maker

I had one of these as a kid. It was the only present that left a real impression on me. I just found an old mold I made back in 79 in my Mom's crawl space. No machine in sight.
If anyone knows were I can find one I would appreciate it.
I was outbidded on EBAY in the last 10 seconds.

                  ($100.00 if in good shape)

Thanks! I used his link to find the one on Ebay last week. I was a bit heart broken that I got outbid! I didn't think there would be much interest.
On that website There are so many game I forgot about. Those were made when you had to be creative and learn how to play with others!

I just noticed that the original post is from a couple of years ago, but if anyone has one of these, can you make Jello shots with it? That would be kind of cool. Green, Frankenstein head shaped Jello shots!

For the record, since this thread is over 2 years old, after using it a couple of times, I eventually threw this on eBay and I got like, $60 for it. It's a neat toy.

Damn! You can't beat that. Buy a toy for $4, play with it and have fun for a while, sell it for $60. It's like you're getting paid to have fun!
