    "Watchmen" Movie Posters

This is shaping up to be a good looking flick!

The definitely captured the look of those old house ads DC used to promote "Watchmen"...

I don't recall this one though. New?

Those look really nice. It reminds me of the original house ads too. I remember first seeing the cryptic slogan "Who watches the Watchmen" in DC comic blurbs and wondering what the hell that was all about. Little did I know the masterpiece that was to come a few months later.

I've heard complaints from diehard Watchmen fans about the trailer, but I think it rocks. The posters looks cool to. I want them all.

Does anyone know why they're releasing this in March instead of using it as a summer blockbuster?

That is odd, almost every scene in the trailer is lifted right from the comic. I can live with the tweaks of Owlman and Ozymandias.

I think it's because Snyder's other comic adaptation, 300, did gangbusters at the exact same time in 07.

I think with the buzz on this, though, WB would have probably been better off to make it a summer tentpole.

One thing I noticed, and other folks mentioned on Newsarama, several of the posters have typos or formatting errors in the text. As a graphic designer, this really jumps out at me. Seems odd that the marcom dept. didn't catch those in time.

But other than that, they are gorgeous.

crap, now all i can see are the typos, too.

visually, tho, they rock, and i'm amazed how faithful they are--startlingly so.

plus, silk spectre (either one) is h-o-t.
