back in the day, when they were still really new...if you would read down the middle of the inside spine, located in the TMT part, it would give credit to the creators of the customs...maybe they thought that it was too much trouble to do it still? who knows...Comment

Nice. So they publish peoples stuff but don't give anyone credit, how would that even work? or do they swipe images??? I didn't know that. lol....i have no idea...im sure that they dont swipe images, since the vince guy has the stuff on his page and says that he did them for TF....maybe they get credit in the front of the book, along with the other names?Comment

I'm a little irritated with Toyfare myself. After I made a custom Composite Superman for the Secret Santa exchange, I also sent a photo to Toyfare, just for the heck of it. I got an email asking for a few details about myself and the custom, as well as permission to feature it in Homemade Heroes. When I asked when it would show up, they gave me an approximate issue# and month. That was over 4 months ago and it still hasn't been in yet. I was really excited, just to say that something I made was in Toyfare, but it's disappointing to flip through the pages every month and not see it.Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

But the 3 times I was in that Feature,.. They would never give me a # nore a Month that the Nod was in there. The only thing that was ever Really Stated,.. was "We MIGHT use your figure,.. tell us about it. "... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

years ago, when we did the legends stuff as customs, we got several emails from them, asking about them,etc..and pretty much the same thing as what BK said, but never heard back from them again...so anything is possibleComment

Guessing Vince does it more for the publicity, so he can justify charging whatever he does for commissions. I don't follow toyfare or (ugh) Wizard, but that's too bad if they didn't credit the toyfare theatre creators.You must try to generate happiness within yourself.
