I am going to say an elephant based on a special I saw on TV.
I understand they grief heavily over the loss of one of their own and are know to go back to the sites of where the elephant dies and go through a grieving period similar to that of humans."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
