I did a head and posted it yesterday, woke up this morning, took one look at it and put it in my pocket with some sculpy and headed off to work. I really jumped the gun with that last post. I took an exacto and hacked off his face. I did most of this sculpt at work with no reference photos. Sorry the photos are so dark, but it is fitting

This is much closer to what I thought I was doing yesterday. I had a nice neat paint job on him but he looked way too clean. Now I need to make a mold and do a resin cast. That may have to wait as I have promised people I would finish other things first. I can't wait to finish this one though.

That is how we learn.
I have jumped the gun several times on here and posted stuff that really wasn't ready to be posted
Usually if I post something and about two or three people respond. I usually figure I ****ed something up and take the figure down and back to the drawing board. For instance my Hourman, I am now touching him up. LOL
Now that there is a Custom Works In Progress area. We can post what is in progress and get opinions. I really like this idea as to the way it was.
Nice head btw!

Geez that's coming together nicely, Ed. Where'd you get the fabric for that shirt? It's perfect
Now that's the Joker I saw in the movie last night :applause:

I printed up the shirt using white thin jacket lining, it has the hexagon pattern like the one worn in the movie. The pants and tie are also done with the printing process I use, this time w/ a cotton sheet type fabric. I found out in the last few weeks that I'm not pinned down to any certain fabric. So far so good. In "real life" the pants look more purple than blue.

^^ you have some movie refernce pics that you used. I'm thinking that my Joker needs a new suit.

I kinda dig the bluish color. Ledger's look of the costume seems to be influenced somewhat by the Neal Adams/Marshall Rogers look in the '70's. '70's Batman is all over this film series.

I'm still pluggin away at this guy. I keep remaking stuff, I think I have something I'll be happy with till I see it for a few days then its back to square one. At least the vest is the same. The last head didn't go to waist, I used it for the nurse custom, I don't like the forehead on this one, so there is still another new version I have cast but have yet to paint.
I just finished the grenades in the jacket. They are removable (velcro) the ring fits the thumb perfectly. I just wanted to post a few pics before I stare at it too long and disect it again
