Star Trek Weapons?

Has anyone done ST Phaser, Tricorders, Communicators, and the Klingon Phaser to look realistic?

For Mego scale use..? Like most, I've been using the Playmate accessories. Various pieces from both 3" and 9" look great for the Mego line.. I painted the Klingon disruptor from the 3" Koloth figure gray/silver and have in on a custom Dave Mc/Dunsel Klingon figure.

Yes, for Mego use. I remember my dad saying they looked like they were made from tooth paste. LOL

Hmmmm....

Paint a Mego/EMCE phaser pistol black, and paint the barrel silver. Works perfectly. Tricorders are tricky, but I've made a decent Klingon Disruptor. (8th pic down.)
