Any tips for using liquid Rit Dye?

I bought the white DocMego lab coat that I want to dye navy blue. Bought the liquid dye kind. All directions seem to be for large items. The coat is, of course, dinky. What ratio or how much dye should I use?

    Thanks!

Try using a capful of the dye. Do the instructions call for mixing it with water?

Use a throwaway plastic tub that you don't mind ruining, or an old Tupperware bowl for the dye job.

The instructions should tell you how long to steep the item in order to achieve the shade you want.

If you have any throwaway white fabric, you could play with that first.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

Don't get any in your mouth, it tastes like ****.

See, now you *made* me have to go and taste it! Yuck!

(Well, the blue tasted better than the yellow!)

And my tongue is permanently green!
