I purchased this Superman on eBay last year for $60. Granted, he is minty...but this is what happens when two people get in a bidding war.

I'm surprised. The winner sells Megos. Are you sure it's not some undiscovered Brazilian Superman? Nice looking Supes, though.

Crazy price. Benbarb get some outrageous prices. I think I'd save my money and buy a carded one for that price.

Hey Derek, lucky, lucky you. You must be pleased?
The FF Spidey has been listed so please make sure you get into the same sort of bidding war ;-)

I know, and he's a super nice guy. I hate it that someone else wanted it that bad and drove the price up on him. On the positive side, he is getting a super nice, minty Type 1 Superman with no problems whatsoever.

Pleased and shocked Paul! Yes, I will be bidding on your spidey - but hopefully I will have more discipline and not get in the same pickle...:smiley1:

Your Spidey Buddy,
Ken:smiley1:
Nice score for the seller. Another reason why we'll never have an accurate price guide to Megos.

Yeah, it sucks for the winner that someone bid up the price that high, but why would he even put down a maximum bid that high? You're kinda asking for it then :please:
