I just recently purchased the Space 1999 collection. I am torn. I am not a box em up kind of guy. I like to display them OUT OF THE CARD. Will I regret opening these up in 20 years? Are these dolls an investment? SHould I buy another collection and have one boxed and one display?

I assume these are the Classic TV Toy versions? Open 'em up and display them.

My advice as a toy collector with over 30 years experience under my belt ..... Open them up and live and enjoy the moment today .....
Today is where it's all at

I only buy the loose figures from CTVT. That way this issue never arises.

Yes. I agree. Also, if they become a gold mine. Opened, I will have a greater client base than on card due to price. I did not buy these as investments, only to show off the REAL Palitoy versions. ;-)
Thats what I told my wife, as I am presently creating a display case built on the wall for over 100 mego that I will collect. Its crazy.
