OMG! I love it. Sandman is the one custom my daughter doesn't have in her JSA. I need to get cracking. I see people making customs of Sandman and it reminds me I need to complete the JSA!!!
More custom Mego madness on Facebook right here...
They both look great. Shame on you guys that don't know who the Sandman is. Founding member of the JSA, and in DCU history, one of its first masked heroes.
You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie Banks
"Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."
Brian is an amazing customizer and has quickly become my addition of choice.
But i want to work on the JLA before i get too deep into the JSA, Nevermind the Titans and the Legion. if i ever get around to them the X-Men too. But fantastic work on both of those Sandmen.
Now just add Sandy "-the golden boy" sidekick . Or make one of his Yellow/Purple costume,
I KID YOU NOT on both points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Hang on Lady... We go for a RIDE!" - Shorty to Willie Scott.Best movie line from Indiana Jones & the Temple Of Doom
Being a huge Golden Age Sandman fan, I really apperciate those. I made a couple (thanks for the help, Brian Leitner!) of GA Sandman customs a while back...sorry, no digicam yet.
BTW, check with Mego73 for a really cool custom box to go with Sandman! Tell him I sent you.
I just did a GA Sandman recently which was totally inspired by Leitner. I also made some other JSA heroes using several actual Leitner heads. Great job on this Sandman!
