Does anyone know if the WGSH line will be re-released like the Star Trek line has?
It will be a challenge, but Doc Mego has said he won't rest until it happens. But it may take some time.

It's on my list of things to get going if I win the lottery. I'll ante up so Doc can do it.

At that point, you'd be able to buy all original WGSH... Unless of course you'd still be concerned about your Mego brethren and not hiding out on some island...

Absolutely. Megos for all. The world should have them available. My daughter lights up when I restore a mego. It's like the smile I got when I opened a new one as a kid. Everyone should have them.

would be pretty cool if they did it, long as they kept them to the original mold
i dont like to see over pumped up muscle looking crap like they did with the new star wars stuff
then wondering what little black market treats they may knock up like hidden variants and puting 1 of a certain figure in a box of 22 others
they know what there doing

you can always hope I guess
I can't see DC and Marvel both agreeing to a rerelease of the WGSH's.
If one ever does agree, certainly the other one will not.
It'd be cool for sure, but don't hold your breath. Those guys over at DC and Marvel can be a pain in the ... :wink_y:

Seems like DCDirect would sell and distribute these in house, possibly with EMCE doing all the legwork.

This kind of scenario potential combined with what EMCE has actually
accomplished this far makes me think something akin to this will happen... AND relatively soon.

I think we would all collectively collapse to our knees and give a primal scream if we walked into a toy store and saw a brand new Mego-style display of DC and Marvel characters. These days toys have such intricate tie-ins with movie releases and saturday morning cartoons, it would be difficult for competing licenses to allow a blend of their primary characters. One thing I do know is you'll never see those days again where the box has five or six DC characters surrounding one Marvel character - that's a given.

One thing is for sure, IF it did happen, it would make for some of the most
entertaining reading in the ole museum of all time!

I don't think it's completely out of the question. Art Asylum was able to release Mini-mates for both DC and Marvel, which, I can't help but notice by looking at the copyrights on the Mini-mates box, is a Diamond Select Toy.
