Just seen this...and gotta say was very impressed...I really enjoyed it...some great zombie deaths (and some great zombies too).

well the budget was better on Land of the dead I could tell you that much :grin:

I personally like Land of the dead,so it's hard for me to say.But it's worth renting atleast once

I am personally a Romero fan, and the movie was good in my opinion, there was good character development and as usual a message, but I think he might have pushed it a touch to much. Compared to Land he had a bit less budget to work with but I think he did an excellent job of working with what he had.

Yeah,I gotta agree the acting sucked but the use of the handheld cams was cool.It probably would've made me ill in the theatre,tho(not the guts...the handheld):wink:

Results: Awful.

I really wanted to like this, but the acting was not convincing to sell the handheld camera thing.

I always use Return of the Living Dead as a George Romero zombie meter ......

Return was made as a homage to George .....
Technically, it shouldn't stand up to any REAL Romero zombie movie ......

So far imo, Return beats ........
