Looks great. Is this yet another redo of Capn Marvel, or is it a spin off of the Jeff Smith series?

^^^Its part of the DC Kids line that includes the Teen Titans and SUperfriends books. Looks to be fairly faithful to C.C. Beck's Big Red Cheese.

It does pick up where Smith's story ends and is also part of DC's kids line.

Yeah, the Captain does look like Patrick Warburton, but then again, he looks like Captain Marvel! Brock Samson as Captain Marvel...the mind boggles.

My son saw an ad for this and is very interested. DC is doing some good stuff with their kids line.

Sounds better all the time.
It's about time they start making comics for kids again, I believe its the best hope for building a new generation of fans, and keeping comics viable. I must say, I prefer the books for kids myself....stuff like the Batman Adventures, the short lived Adventures in the DC Universe, etc.

I loved the Smith book and think even CC Beck would enjoy this. Well, maybe not but it's still a revamp that I think modernizes the character while really retains what makes him great.

Herobear and the Kid was a good book so this should be a whole lot of fun.

between Tiny Titans and Billy Batson, I think i now buy more books from DC's kid line than i do the regular one.
