    David Lee Wheres my Phantom

Hey David when can I order The Phantom....The Flatt one is on Ebay right now and its got me craving yours....how close will yours be to the one on ebay right now?

D@*n it!!!! I cant wait to see this figure in person...Youve really got me excited. Can You do Flatts Zorro too? I almost cried when I found out he wasn't going to complete that project. (ok I cried but just a little) (ok maybe a little wailing)

I just want some Wolves & some 45's. The Idea of Zorro has some serious interest to me as well.

Wait for Castaway, it'll be cheaper than the Flatt prototype. Give it some time, they still have to get Captain Action out.

Yea... it's gonna be late summer on the Phantom... Ifin it were me? I'd wait for the $20 or so figure... if it were me, but hey do what ya gotta do We bought the prototypes from Charlee to produce ours; Hands, Guns etc...

          The key differences are:
          Resin head versus roto'd head
Resin fists versus flexible gun grippers
Cut down CHIPS boots Versus roto'd soft rubber boots
          $400 versus $20 or so

If you are looking for the Flatt name and mystique then by all means hit it! If you just want a great Phantom Figure, hang on... it's coming.

Thanks for the interest BTW, we are so excited to see this one made ourselves.

          -Dave

I'll say this: We've talked to the Zorro folks before and they seemed amenable at the time... It fits with what we are doing... Charlee has Prototypes of the Zorro figure... Jason and I would love to see it happen...

              How's that?

I'm mostly interested in when those accessories are gonna be available. The bodies, all the different gloves, the new pirate boots...the suspense is kinlling me!
Of all the souls I have encountered his was the most...human.

                        Some more key differences:

Hand made and painted versus made in China by ten year olds
Only a handful made versus mass produced
A head that can be posed in all directions versus one that can just spin like the exorsist
A really cool looking collectible with an equally cool history versus a toy pretending to be a collectible ( whatever that means)

Another important diffence: $400 VS $20. ! And the $20 one still has Charlie's Head sculpt.

Yea, that was already mentioned. Kind of comparing apples and apple pie though.

The head on the flattworld phantom was sculpted by Dan Platt, a proffessional Toy sculptor, not Charlee. The head on the Castaway's phantom was sculpted by Cory Woods and refined by Charlee Flatt. So neither was done by Charlee which is actually a good thing.

Just in case you guys are interested, Moonstone has lost the license to the Phantom. And Dynamite Publishing has acquired it.
