    The Rampaging HULK!

Matt (Spiderrogue) got the wheels turning in my head. I was trying to come up with a different take on the Jolly Green Giant. I kept going around with 50's horror movies like the Hideous Sun Demon and Monster on the Campus. Basically a guy changing into a monster and stomping around in his ripped up clothes. So I went back to Hulk number one when he was fighting the Gargoyle, blown out shoes and a wasted suit. The shoes were 1/6th ones I soaked in acetone to get them soft and then trashed them to get them on the big Hulk feet. The suit was a Hasbro Clark Kent, I like the way it frayed up and shredded. The head is a cast from Tony, its a Marvel Legends figure and it works as is, no expanding done.

I gave his skin a hint of green for fun.

Attempted BK shot, his head doesn't have the range of motion I wanted.

    SImply...wow.

I've only seen a handful of Hulk customs, but yours is by far the best. I know Spiderogues' Hulk is going to rock, but there is something about yours that strikes of nostalgia and tradition. It pays homage to the original design and core of the character while envoking horror movies of the same era. THe second shot is just jaw-dropping. I may save that as my desktop.

You have done a great job of combining the savageness of the character with a sense of melencholy that comes with his isolation from humanity. Great work.

HOly smokes Joe! That's one of the best Hulks I've ever seen! That ML Hulk head is spot on with that body! I wonder how well it would look on a Mego Hulk body? Been thinking about molding one up. Brilliant work, my friend

Beautifully done. Love the exploded shoes, and my favorite shots are the black and white ones.

Yes truley the suit and the exploded shoes make the figure. Those are great details. And like you said the whole piece has a retro 50s feel to it.

              Good job!
