Hey folks, been a while but life has been in the way! I think I'll be taking a break form the parts and heads for a while and focus more on customs a bit, as I forgot how fun it was.

Anyway, here's golden age Starman using a Troy Younger head and killer lace up style shorts by none other than Tbolt! For those of you that have not had the opportunity to use a Troy Younger head I highly suggest check out his site and placing an order. Not only is Troy one of the nicest people I know but his work compares to no other IMO. Not only are his heads cast in some really hard and heavy stuff they are nearly flawless and detailed with a style that is worthy of being called AquaTroy-esque. I've been wanting to try out Tbolt's lace up shorts for some time now so I got a few from him and folks lemme just say if you think they look good in photos, they look better in person! Nice stitch work, solid eyelets and quality lycra make these babies totally worth the mere $8.00 per pair.

Thanks all, he was a fun build. shellhead, glad you asked actually:) His cosmic rod is a spent Dremel bit! hehe I gobbed on some Apoxie Sculpt to the worn down end, let it dry the actually attached it back to the Dremel, turned it on it's lowest speed and used a grinding wheel and sand paper to sort of lathe the shape on the end. It my favorite part of the figure!

He looks really great. I don't think I've ever seen his weapon.... What does he do with it? :suspect::suspect:

Originally Ted Knight invented the Gravity Rod and it allowed him to convert stellar energy into the power of flight as well as being able to manipulate the same energy into light, heat, and objects similar to those created by Green Lantern's Power Ring. By the 50s, the Gravity Rod was rechristened the Cosmic Rod. Eventually the Star-Spangled Kid adapted this technology into his Cosmic Converter Belt in the 70s.
