Turkey are the cardiac comebacks kids, unbelievable come from behind victories over supposedly vastly superior teams...and big favorite Netherlands just got eliminated by upstart Russia.

Great tourney, this is football/soccer at its very best.

hmmmm I don't know about soccer at it's best....a lot of the group matches were dire....certainly Turkeys games and the 1/4 final between germany and portugal have been highlights

not at all...if anything it makes it easier to enjoy as we have no vested interest in the tournament. The Dutch played some nice stuff...until tonight....Spain looked good for a couple of games but I think Germany will win through...they seem to be hitting some good form at the right time.
