    first complete custom....Bub from Day of the Dead

    For a long time I have wanted a figure of Bub... Dr. Logan's prize pupil from George A. Romero's Day of the Dead. Well tonight I have taken the first step and sculpted a MEGO scale head (pics. soon.). Next I will attempt my first casting process. Any hints or products I should use?

              Oops... First snag! My sculpt is like 7% out of scale for a MEGO body! I'll give it another go!

                                      Sculpt is done at proper size! Next step.... casting!

                                          Bub is 98% complete!

                                          Well, Bub is 98% complete! I would like to find a better plaid shirt. the one in the pictures is really nothing more than a dickey sort of thing... no back. Any ideas where I can find a plaid shirt? I sculpted the head and did the paint myself... I never did get around to casting, so this is just paint over Super Sculpty. I also want to age the jacket and pants and find a proper chain. Any and all comments are welcome as this is my first attempt at customizing!

                                                  Thanks guys! when I was younger (13 or so...I just turned 38 yesterday! yikes I'm old!) I use to make stuff out out clay all the time... However, I just started up again about a month ago. thanks for the the confidence boost. I'm hoping to have more stuff in the next few weeks!
