Are the red Alan Carter Helmets Marked?

Im trying to verify mine is original it is not marked at all - I have another one i know is orignial mego & i thought this was too

Anybody got a CTVT helmet they can look at & tell me for sure?

Accessory Check tells you all you need to know. Repro's are easy to spot even though they are unmarked.

The repro has a slightly different shape, especially across the top where the visor slides into the helmet. It is unmarked.

You asked whether it was marked, and Dave sent you to a page that he worked hard on (for a project he selflessly spent innumerable hours on), which not only answered your exact question, but gave you a frickin' picture to show you the differences...



Does someone need to come over to your house with an original and a repro to make it any more clear?

As it stated above the Helmets are very different, hold up an known AJ verison (if you have one) as your control ,you'll see there different in shape.

Thank you for the mature and well thought out responses to my post.

I really appreciated your suggestion via PM on where I could go, although with 115 degree temperatures here today, I am hoping for a cooler vacation spot. And I particularly enjoyed your taking the time to call. Despite the brevity and one sided nature of the conversation, I always appreciate when someone takes the time out of their day to so enthusiastically let me know their thoughts. Don't take offense if next time it rolls to voicemail though.

However I think I'll pass on your suggestion to erase my post, as others my find it educational.
