So, I am new here and am getting interested in Megos. I'd like to know some history of Mego Museum.

Such as:
When were the first toys released?
Which were the original toys?

Any other important facts you think are interesting would be great.
Thanks

First of all, welcome.

That question is sort of like walking into a crowded stadium on a Sunday afternoon and asking what is this football thing all about.

Instead of trying to answer a couple of generic questions, I'd like to refer you to the best source of information, the Mego Museum website itself.

Mego Museum: The World's Greatest Mego Playset : Mego Toys : Mego Corp : Mego (http://www.megomuseum.com/index.html)

I encourage you to check out the Library and the Interviews and Catalog pages to get a good feel for the history. Check out the Galleries to see some of the many products and lines the company produced. And even reading through this forum spefically is a great source of information.

Thanks for finding us!
