Small Grundy

Well I finished one of my Grundy's I used white body and CTVT shoes Hulk head, Franky outfit cut up. Looks nice but my Hulk body Grundy is done and waiting for some clothes and shoes. I will post him as soon as he is done. I thought I would make both to see which one I liked better. [IMG][/IMG]

Seem like the big body works better for Grundy, but this one is well executed. I could see mego doing this with left over Frank clothes, and keeper bodies or something. Bet they would have used that hulk head for sure. How do people do shoes for the big bodies, that seems like the hard part, when using the muscle body?

That looks OK but I think if you want Grundy to look like the actual size. Pick up one of those Famous Cover Hulks off of eBay. You can probably snag them for ten bucks a pop. They are all over eBay.
Repaint the body and grab one of those "dinner date for two" Ken tuxedos. Rip it up and fix up his feet with some classic Sculpty and presto...

The Frankie suit looks good for Grundy, but I'd go with a Hulk body

If you are trying to find shoes that fit the Mego Hulk, use 1/6th GI Joe size boots. I dremelled down the FC Sabretooth feet and got some nice lace up boots for him from a GI Joe knockoff. They look a lot better than sculpy feet.


I really like the look of Grundy on the regular body, it looks more like his gold and silver age appearances.

One of my favorite things about Megos were that they were all more or less the same body size. I think I like that regular body Grundy. Great paint job by the way!

I like your Grundy. It's amazing how much the hulk head looks like Mruphey Anderson's rendition of the character from that old showcase issue.

Like tbolt and madmarva, I'm a sucker for silver age figures...mostly Marvels, but DC also. This first Grundy is spot on if you are going for that style...

I really like your Solomon Grundy, Kevin. He's next on my to do list. My plan was just like what you did Hulk head, Doc T-2 white body, and CTVT Frankenstein outfit. Now I just have to find someone with a Hulk head painted as good as your's.
