Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any words of wisdom for me. I am custmizing a thor head and need to dye his hair white. I was thinking of using h. paroxide but wasn't sure if it would make the hair too brittle like using bleach. Next thought was using dye but have no clue on that idea. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Woody

I don't think you can dye synthetic hair on a mego doll. You are going to have to re-root him.

Hmmmm....

Yeah; the hair is actually thin plastic thread; so it doesn't take colour at all. Bleaching it'll probably do nothing, or will make it brittle. There's a few folks around here who do reroot toutorials, and it's not tough to do. But it takes FOREVER!

For hair you can use doll hair if there's a craft shop nearbuy that sells it. I've bought cheapie costume wigs and snipped hair off of those. Luckily for me, I live 2 houses away from TWO big costume/party/decoration stores. (They're also an excellent source of foam rubber ninja stars....)
