I'm ecstatic to be attending my third Meet. It's been a few years and I'm really looking forward to connecting with this amazing community.

My tickets are officially booked and I'll be one of few Canadians making the long trip.

This is what I was worried about. Going to miss out again.

I planned on going as I have a list of wants for my 5 year old who I got hooked on Megos, but that time has been reserved for a family birthday gathering at the Oregon coast. And my daughter decided she wanted to go to the Cruel World festival so I used my miles to get us down to the festival.

I had an enormous amount of fun and was sorry I couldn't stay for much of Sunday. If you have the time and means to attend in the future, do not hesitate to do so!

It's always fun making new friends, and that's exactly what happened when I went to Mego Meet and at Power-Con with my friend, Johnny Loyd. To shake the hand and speak to the father of Mego Corporation, Marty Abrams, was a real treat, because Mego made my childhood really fun with their super articulated toys.

Many thanks to good guys Brian Heiler and Steve Moore for making the meet possible. I have been wanting to meet the Museum guardians for 23 years.

It was wonderful to finally meet White Elephant Toys Jason Schiermeyer, Kaci, Dr. MEGO Paul Clarke, Joel Rosenzweig, and Frank Wojo.

It was terrific meeting, and spending time with Scott Brown , Gregory Harris, Scott Pierce and Sam Noir of Random Noir, Scott Arendsen, Brent Sorensen of BrentzDolz, Kevin Fiore, Marlene, Scott Fiore, Shannon T Stewart, Paul Wasson, Steve Stovall of Super Joe 1977, Brue Hoyt , Chuck Gregory, Mark Huckabone, Noel, and David J. If I left any one out, I apologize.

Hopefully, I get to meet Chris Franklin, Scott Metzger, Brian Leitner, Chad Gordy, Dan L Hayes, Rachel Baker, Jason Roberts, Jason Saville, Art Baltazar and many others in the future. I can't wait to do it again next year!
