Well, that's a good fit. Sleepy Hollow took that tale off in a totally different direction, but it had a Dark Shadows soap opera-like plot. They should do this up right.

I'm definitely down for this! Johnny Depp's name has been attached to this project for quite a while now so it's pretty much a no-brainer...with Burton on board it's gotten even better!

With Depp AND Burton on board nothing can go wrong. Next thing you know the music will be by Danny Elfman, which only sweetens the deal

Normally I don't like it when Burton takes on projects other than those of his own design but he should knock Dark Shadows out of the park.

While I normally don't like Tim Burton...I liked Sleepy Hollow. This is the type of Movie He does best...so He might do a good Job on Dark Shadows.

i cant stand his dark twisted style, does nothing for me, soon as i hear tim is on the board ill give the movie a miss, dont care who is on the cast, not that i could do any better but its just not my cup of tea and i think he has ruined many a potential good possibly great film

I agree with ya there. This is so up his alley though that I can't see him deviating too far from the source material.

I'd love to see a resurrgence in popularity for Dark Shadows because of this movie...yeah it's always had it's cult following but it's time to go BIG once again!

Agreed he has ruined quite a few good ideas...POTA...
But there are two Tim's....The Good Tim......and his evil twisted Brother
who casts his wife in every move Tim....
