Mezco have announced the first 9" real clothing Warriors figure to be released.

A red Baseball Fury, exclusive to San Diego Comic Con., and limited to just 200 pieces worldwide.

A few were sold through their site, but sold out instantly. Still, you can go there and see what he looks like, and get a little more information on these figures, and the awesome new super articulated bodies used.

The Warriors, 9", series 1, is scheduled for July
Heroes, 9", series 1, is scheduled for November

UPDATE: I have gotten confirmation and cool news, that the Gomez (original creation) exclusive figure they have up for pre-order will also be on the new super articulated 9" body. Judging by the silhouette they show, he will be a real cool figure. A bug man in a tuxedo with a ray gun? No brainer! Limited to 500, and still in stock as of this post. I ordered one.

I am ordering a case of the warriors and heroes for customs.

I'm not a fan of the movie, although I think it's turned into a camp cult classic. I know whenver I'm cleaning up around the house and I end up with a couple of bottles, I always stick them on the ends of my fingers and clack them together, chanting "Warrrrriors... come out and play-ee-yay!" until I make it over to the recycler. Makes the kids laugh, drives the wife crazy.

Well, anyhow, thunderbolt, I'm anxious to see the clothing on these niners. I'm also anxious to see the PRICES drop. Like most of us could pay $65 apiece for these guys. It's always nice to see some new 9-inch stuff out, whether for customs or otherwise.

Well, not saying they are going to be cheap, but that Fury is $65 because it is an exclusive limited to just 200.

My guess is the regular figures will be around $30. Hopefully cheaper.

The Warriors is one of my all time favorite films, and I can't tell you all how much I am looking forward to this line. I am a fan of Heroes as well.

I have seen some of the prototypes in person, and these are the nicest figures I have seen in this scale to date. Absolutely blow away those horrible Famous Covers things, and anything I have seen come out of Japan. The articulation is off the hook.

Mezco will be getting a lot of my business this year.

I think $65 for that figure is a great deal if limited to 200,you'll see them on ebay soon enough for 4 times that

The regular release ones will be chaper than the exclusives. I'm eager to see if they have two female bodies for the Heroes line. I hope this line takes off and they apply it to other properties they have like Hellboy and the Spirit.
