Which '67 Spider-Man cartoons do you prefer?

Even though I don't have the DVDs, I've been having fun watching Spidey on YouTube. For whatever reason, I don't remember the longer half-hour segments. These seem to be more sci-fi oriented, and not so much comic book nemesis themed. But you know, I think I like the 10 min. cartoons better w/ Jameson being boisterous, and Spidey taking on Doc Ock, The Vulture, The Rhino, Green Goblin, etc.

Which ones do you like better?

Nah, I always liked the 67 series.
I would run around with My Spidey
Singing the theme tune....it's a classic

I know the animation wasen't that great...but I loved it.
It's what I used to get up early on the weekend for.

In the late 60s/early 70s, TV shows announced that they were "in color" b/c a lot of shows were filmed in B&W. It was a while before that became the standard.

Now, back to my original topic, folks!

I like the shorter ones better. There is a half hour Kingpin episode and the origin one that are good, too.

Some of the made for TV villains were fun, too. The Human Fly twins, Parrifino, Dr. Noah Body.

Here is one of the crazier episodes. The United Intelligence Agency.

Revolt in the Fifth Dimension is an acid trip animated. Those later episodes by Ralph Bakshi are so frickin' bizarre. They are pieced together from previous episodes/plots and apparently from Rocket Robin Hood episodes, although I've never seen that series. And those later ones have like 20-minute long swinging sequences, just to make up time.

That being said, the Origin of Spider-Man is almost dead-on the original comic, and its my absolute favorite version of Spidey's origin in any medium. Perfection.

But overall, I prefer the first season episodes.
