Thanks everyone. I think she did a great job.
I'm probably going to display it in my glass case along with the other loose Megos (No clamshell).
As far as the rest of the clothes...
- AJ spy outfit turtleneck
- Black jacket from a black 007 suit that I picked up from Doc Mego
- Black Mego shoes (Bruce Wayne style)
- Mego Jeans (not sure who they are from, had them in a close pile)
It would be really cool to dress him in various Mego outfits. I always wanted to be Spidey, Batman or even part of the POTA cast. I guess this is my chance... :wink_y:

Who is Ada Chan??
Ada Chan is an increadable artist/sculpture. A museum member mentioned her in a post and then I saw some of her work on eBay. She sculpted many Celebrities and she will do any custom work that you want. She mostly does heads for 12" figures but you can ask her to do 8" also. My custom head cost me $180 but I think she raised the price to $200 now. Her email address is ada748623@yahoo.com.hk if you want to contact her. Her ebay ID is wantedyou and here is a link to her eBay store: eBay Store - Oil Painting: Self-Representing, MailBox (http://stores.ebay.com/Action-Figure-Head-Wantedyou)

Nice one Bill.
Ada's work is really good, i've got several of her heads to shrink down, and i'm trying to get her to do an older Sean Connery, ala " Diamonds are forever ". I think that head would be easier to adapt for Ramirez.
Yeah...I've seen the Welling...Man, I wish it were Mego size!!
I'm ordering a few more heads from her at the weekend and was thinking of getting a Tom Welling. If you want an 8" casting let me know.

Ian, I'll take the Tom Welling if you shrink it down. Also, please let me know what others you already shrunk. I would probably be interested in those also. Ada is amazing!!

Man...that looks cool. I couldn't even imagine how scary mine would look to people on here. You'd have to make a head from the undertaker wrestler doll and expand it mego size...

thanks for the bigger photo. The fleshtones look really warm and almost waxy.... Your jacket looks like a peacoat(sp?) the way you are wearing it. I didn't recognize it as a doc mego...
vman
May 31, '08, 11:24 AM
The waxy look is coming from the camera flash. If you see it in person, the face looks like it was molded, not painted. I'll try to take a pic without the flash.
