    12" Mego Customs??

I have seen lots of fantastic customs here, but don't ever remember seeing any 12" Mego customs.

I'm still amazed at how some folks can shrink heads to fit 8" scale. Is it possible to go the other way as well...meaning you take an 8" head and blow it up to 12" scale?

I've always wanted to make a 12" Riddler and Aquaman custom.

    Just curious.

It's probably easier to enlarge them using Hydrospan. If I understand it correctly, you cast the original in the stuff, then soak it in water til it's the size you want. I've never actually worked with it, but it doesn't seem to difficult. Getting the ratios right for shrinking seems challenging though.

Brown Bear -- It's really not that hard to do --
          Hydrospan 100 is a 2:1 mix.
You make a mold of the head
Then cast it in the hydrospan
once it cures -- soak it in the water until it grows to the size you want.
I let it get bigger than I wanted then shrink back down to the size desired.
Make a new mold and cast away.
Don't be sorry. How would you know? You've been watching MTV all your life.
