It's legit and the real deal...It's by one of the old timers that has a knack for showing up at Megomeet every year. Satisfaction guaranteed. Hope to see him at the meet this year. I'd love to get my hands on the original Western Paintings by Gray Morrow that he has. Beautiful paintings.

I don't think they really do.
I think the seller may have overestimated his value by $1000(BUT... there could be an impulsive buyer out there that might just HAVE to have it),
I'll be interested to see what happens in the next few days.
I wish the the best of luck with auction regardless,it is a seriously
hard hitting piece.

This is the type of piece that will sell for whatever the right buyer is willing to pay. In other words, it is priceless. I don't know how anybody could put an estimated price on it.

I believe that one of these sold privately for much more than $3K recently, and it was in worse condition.

Good luck, Ron! When you sell it, you can fill that gap in your collection with the CTVT version.

Great figure, too bad about the eyes. Will they get worse as the deterioration continues?

And Rudy Zerbi strikes again! At least now I can stop planning which organs to sell to finance that Frankenstein ;)

Wow..I was totally wrong Dan,I stand CORRECTED!!
I thought Rudy might be the guy to grab it if anyone(or Ray Castille or Charlie) but I was SURE he woulda' had one of these already.I was trying to gauge the price by approx. what I spent on some other equally uber rare loose Mego figures recently, and it appears I got a helluva deal.Congrats Ron and Rudy.

Nah, Ray is a much bigger fan of the AHI and Tomland figures, he'd never lay out 3K for a Mego, no matter how rare. He sold off his Red-Haired Dracula years ago, I think ChrisDVM won that one.

I've noticed a lot of monster fans can be somewhat cool to the Mego line, guess it's their generic nature.

Anyone know if he's coming this year? I don't know what I'd do if he wins the CTVT Dracs in the auction. I may hurt myself laughing. :terror:
