OK, as soon as I saw the designs for the new Destoyer series by Robert Kirkman, I was sold on it. http://comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=16082 Basically, the character's been in publication for over 50 years, and aging semi normally for that time. What got me going on the custom was a old shirt Mrs TBolt gave me that solved the striped sweater issue. The rest of the clothing was some 1/6th boots shrunk, 1/6th army pants taken in at the waist, and left baggy to look like the artwork. The head is a reworked ctc goblin head. I wanted him to look like he's wearing a fright mask from a dime store.

And the anti BK shot, him looking down at some freshly kicked bad guy *****

Neat Stuff Bolt. I have no idea what this is,.. But like the look of the character. The shirt looks as if it would work great for a Freddy figure too.
Awsome job Joe! I always thought Drax the Destroyer was cool. Great job on the suit, and I thought that was one of Don's heads. Good stuff:yes:

Great Look! The comic book series looks pretty good, too. Looks like everybody is whipping out their golden age greats, huh?
So 1/6 scale boots can be shrunk? Good to know. I only have a million of them around my house.

As always it's awesome for a Golden Ager to get the spotlight. Your take on the character is very unique, reminds me a bit of Mike Mignola's style as well. Your costume work is tops man, keep it up! -Will

That is one ugly looking dude! Nice work all around. The head is freaky and the clothes are spot on.

^^^ All the guns etc came from war-toys.com. Its all 1/6th stuff but works pretty well for 9 inch figures
