    Piper's clothes

How the heck do I take them off without destroying thrm? It's as if they are sewn directly onto the doll.

The belt and the jeans have no give or stretched, as well as no closure to speak of.

    Even Tootie's clothes have velcro!

Disassembly? Taking her apart might work.

I opened a Piper and returned her because there was a big hole in the crotch of her jeans. I didn't even try to remove her pants, they missed the edge of the material when sewing them.

I'm interested to know what was behind that choice. Didn't take time to note if it was overhanded (can't see any other way of getting them on). I mean, I see the advantage here of not bulking up her derriere with Velcro, but it does seem unique among the figures.

I managed to work them off slowly. Took a little time, but it's possible.

Mego should know it is a standard thing ALL boys/men MUST pull down a female figure's pants to see what's underneath.

I asked this on Facebook when she came out and was told that the pants can be pulled off. It's a very tight fit but I did manage to do it and get them back on.

                    Reminds me of the '80's...

I got the jeans off. All I had to do was pop out the leg at the hip joint, and they csme off with a little work.

I guess using spandex denim and sn elasticized waist didn't occur to anyone.

It seems that Phoebe has bell bottoms on. I like the color of her jeans better than Pipers. They might even be easier to remove.
