    I like the new...

...blisters on the Mego cards. I also like that there are no twist ties to wrinkle the outfits.

i will say I like how retro/modern the cards seem color and style wise. there seems to be a happy medium to them.

I'd really love to see the back of the cards!

When I got shown the samples a while back that was my favourite thing, the space age bubble concept.

I like the new cards as well...In fact I plan on re-buying the Star Trek figures I bought when they were released as EMCE, just because the cards are different(as well as the bodies).

Are the bodies different? Is there some info regarding the bodies that I missed?

I know Doc had talked a while ago of developing a new bandless body for a project... is this that project? Or are we getting standard bodies with bands in them?

The only loose figure I held was the 14" body and it seemed bandless. I really liked it to be honest.

How do you know they're different bodies? I heard someone mention they had swivel arms, for example, but haven't seen any pics yet.

Well, if you look at the packaged Sulu...it's extremely obvious that the "Trek Body" now has the bulked up shoulders with swivel biceps.

Maybe if we repeat it enough, it will be true.

I kind of don't think they're going to have swivel arms. The swivel arm bodies have the LJN hands.

Oh come on! Those hands are easily changed...they pop right off. I swap them out all the time. But hey you could be right, it might be just a "mock-up" prototype…and I'm be reading to much into it,

I don't actually know or anything. I would prefer swivel on all of them!

Thanks, palitoy. The 14" figures at *that* price really intrigues me.

But doesn't Doc already have that body and wasn't it used for BBP figures? And that is not a bandless body. As much as I like the Type S body, the hips just aren't right on them. I would love a bandless body with more pulled in hips and if Mego can somehow pull that off, then...
