Nice to meet you in Wheeling. Always nice to meet such an enthusiastic MegoHead. It's what it's all about, really.
An old Irish Blessing - "May those who love us, love us; and if they do not love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He does not turn their hearts, may He turn their ankles, that we may know them by their limping"
Welcome to the Museum Lee! One of the highlights of the event for me was showing you the display room. I love to see people excited about Mego!
OMG I was totally blown away! I know I sound like a broken record, but Megos were my childhood. Every toy I loved were Megos (cept for Transformers) Megos were something no one around here remembers unless it's in context of breaking them. *sighs*
I have had almost 30+ years of toys lay incomplete and broken until Megomeet!
So I was a 4 year old again that day!
Oh and Dave, you have gotta send me some pics of Snake so I can have a heart attack at my computer. That is a Mego I would love to see!
Hey Lee,
Welcome! You sure seemed like a kid in a candy store at megomeet. It was great to see how into megos you were. Have fun here.
John
I was gunna say you have no idea, but I think you know!

I was about to weep like a little girl about the Megomeet cause nothing really cool comes to West Virginia (or so it seemed) until I saw that it was being held in Wheeling and I was about to blow a gasket! I had to come!
I now have 3 customs thanks to you guys!
Bruce Banner
The Sentry
Bizarro
and the stand proudly amongst the other Mego's I own,
ya know, I didn't even expect to get a Bizarro but damn everythng was there!
I just got labels for his chest and back just yesterday!
So when I get Sentry together I'll post pics!
Again fellas thanks for having patience with a 33 year-old acting like he was 4! I think next year I'll be better, now having the whole thing out of my system. I mean seriously I have had almost 30 years of pimped up energy about megos just sitting in the back of my head cause I had no one to talk Megos with.........now I do!
See last year my house I lived in my whole life was torn down and I lost years of toys and collectibles but I did find TONS of type 2 bodies and Megos I was rough with and again thanks to Megomeet I now have a great big part of my childhood back. Thanks again everyone!
That's one of the great things about this group of people - Even the most battered childhood Mego friend can be brought back to life (or - dare I suggest it - replaced) with the help of the people and resources here!
I don't think there were any Ghost Riders left, but if you P-M ChrisDVM he might share the 'recipe' with you.

I think I may have that ave. taken care of!
Yeah now I have a complete Spock, Klingon, Batman Robin and Supes now again thanks yet again to Megomeet!
Lee, I think it would be an under statement to say you put a smile on the face of everyone at the Meet. Your "Christmas Morning" reaction to everything is a way almost all of us here have felt but rarely express as openly as you do. Welcome aboard and I'm sure we all look forward to seeing you next year. It's only 362 days (approx) to MegoMeet 2008. Start the countdown calendar now. Chuck
