Disclaimer: I did not make/produce ONE thing on this Hulk. I have no customizing talent. All credit goes to ToyRoom for the fantastic box, thunderbolt for the shirt, hawkmike for the pants and a friend of my wife's for the "Hulk".

This was what it started off as, a surprise custom from a friend of my wife. I was nice and properly graceful, but in reality... I didn't much care for it. It looks nothing like the Hulk except for it being green.

I jokingly remarked to my wife one day that it "looks the old man Hulk from that episode where the two Hulk fought." Thus, an idea was born:

I present to you... The first Hulk... Del Frye. This episode was entitled "The First" and it was a 2 parter, originally airing in March 1981.

I'm glad they went with Lou and not this guy - freakin ugly!!! Nice job however on the figure. Ugly as he is, it looks just like him.

That's my favorite Hulk episode. Since much of the Hulk was adult drama, very few episodes stick out in my memory, but that one does. Didn't Dick (Swamp Thing) Durrock play "The First".

Either way, nice overall package! Way to go guys!

Brian, I think it's on a "Best of the Hulk" dvd collection, so you wouldn't have to buy the whole season to get it. I haven't seen it in 25 years, but I still have vivid memories of Dick and Lou slugging it out in an old cabin.

Its a two part episode to which makes it even cooler this was by far my favorite episode as a kid. The next would be the demihulk episode. And the one where his face was bandaged and Jack seen him turn into the hulk all of these were 2 part episodes

I'm not sure I see the custom figure either but I know a guy who would be very jealous of that room!
My stuff is spread out over a couple of rooms so I don't have a Batman room like I really should. Every time I see cool pics like that it makes me want to assemble everything in one spot.

Hi guys. Ive had some really deeply personal events happen that took me out of collecting for a couple of years. But, thanks to my faith and lots of perseverance, things have gotten better and I am back!!

I remember that ep. Hulk VS Hulk! It was one of the best of the series.
Nice figure. Great head. And box.
