Free Comic Book Day - Sat. May 3rd

This coming Saturday is Free Comic Book Day. I have two local comic shops that I go to. You can go to the FCBD website and click on 'store locator' to find a participating store near you. Anyone else going to get the free comics?

YAY! I love free comic book day! Dr. Comics and Mr. Games is the place to be this Saturday. What I really love is that when I plan my annual trip w/ my class to the comic book store, (for Cartoon and Comix week!), is there are any leftover freebies, we get them! I also get a teacher's discount.

Hey kids I am surprised I didn't think to post it here originally, but the shop I own is of course having FCBD this Saturday as well! Be sure to stop by for free comics, a huge action figure sale, 10% off everything in store (save food and drink), live music, a parade and lots more! I nevr took the class with me, but as long as I let them know I was a 4th grade teacher they hook me up. I am in the business of corrupting minors into reading comics.

I had to go out of town with my mother since she had a doctor's appointment and we stopped in at Hastings. I bought thirteen comic book related items (one new comic and twelve comic three-packs) and I ended up with thirteen coupons to use on Free Comic Book Day. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to Hastings on Saturday to use them.

I'll be there in the morning, and it's a comic store that's new to me so it'll be fun I hope,I know some of the 501st stormtroopers and others are going to be there and should be plenty of free stuff.
