I went around Oakland's Lake Merrit...I'm very proud of this accomplishment.
I've been walking everyday, and slowly worked my way up to covering some decent distances...this was not done overnight...this was three years in the making.
BTW, what a beautiful day today in the Bay Area.

Hey Hec, That is a great accomplishment. You should be proud. So does this mean we are all in store for a new and improved version of Hector here at The Museum? Not that there is anything wrong with the current Hector version. Keep up the great work buddy!!!

Good on you Hector. I also have been trying to work up my walking distance/fitness which is abysmal. Today was the first day in a month where the sun came out so I took advantage of it and went for a long walk by the water through a rainforest. Made me feel so much better. :)
Great job! You're heart says thank you. What is your next goal?

Very cool Hector...
I used to walk 5 miles a day, 4 times a week.
That, added with a diet lost me over 150 pounds in less then 2 years.
Unfortunately, when I got down to the weight I wanted to be at, I wasn't happy-- as a matter of fact, I was miserable.... I love food too much.
I found I had to exercise and constantly starve myself just to maintain my weight.
Recently I gave up on it all.
I hope your system works for you.

Congrats Hector.
I got a puncture on my bike, so I walked the 2 half miles to work
and the same back home again, two days in a row. my feet were killing me.
Not used to walking that distanct...can't wait to fix my bike.
I love cycling.

Congrats, Hector! Not to get preachy, but walking is amazingly healthy for you. If you can do it just a few times a week, you can gain an amazing amount of health benefits.

Congrats Hector! Walking is Great! It does wonders for the body and Mind. I only use the car for distance driving other than that I walk everywhere. With Gas prices the way they are I don't want to take the car everywhere....A 40 minute walk everyday is great for the heart.....Good for you Buddy!

Congrats, Hector. I am going to seriously get off my duff and start climbing up the stairs instead of using the elevator. I work on the sixth floor. I used to be good about it--now I'm just plain lazy.

Hector, I'm really finally getting off my duff. Seriously.
Yesterday, I walked up to the sixth floor three times. My body is ready to give up by fourth floor but I know with each day it will only get better.
Today, I have only managed twice but I also did 10 push-ups this morning. I have some more time left in the day so maybe I can make the extra effort and make it three times, the minimum goal for the day.
Yay me.
